Would you split a desk organizer into separate modules?

One big organizer looks cleaner, but separate trays would be easier to change later. Currently leaning toward three pieces with nothing linking them.

Separate. I keep finding out my supposedly final layout is not final.

You could leave the outside faces flat now and add a connector later if sliding becomes a problem.

That settles it. Simpler first version and fewer giant prints.
